Robin Murray founded RM Strategic Marketing in 2000 after a 25 year career with top tier financial services firms.
As VP of Strategic Market Planning and Communications, she managed sales support operations for Equitable’s (now AXA’s) entire U.S. distribution system. When AXA created a subsidiary to develop wealth management products for distribution through advisor sales channels, she took on the job of National Marketing Officer. She also developed advisor support programs for $35 billion invested in AXA’s U.S. separate accounts and the U.S. company’s own 401(k) plan.
At INVESCO Private Capital, she became Head of Product Management to oversee their support program for institutional salespeople and third party placement agents raising private equity funds.
Earlier in her career, she worked for Merrill Lynch and E.F. Hutton. Robin earned her BS in Finance and Marketing from the University of Connecticut and an MBA in Finance from New York University. She holds a CLU, ChFC, Series 7 and Series 24.
She is a former member of the Financial Women’s Association of NY, 100 Women in Hedge Funds, NAWBO, and UJA’s Women’s Executive Circle. RM Strategic Marketing was certified and endorsed by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
